Rental of a Mobile Barrel Sauna

1. Provider

2. Rental Object
   
   A mobile barrel sauna for 2–4 people is being rented, equipped with an electric stove and an outdoor shower.
   
   The following accessories are included in the rental:
   
   - Wooden sauna bucket with ladle
   - Thermometer
   - Hygrometer
   - Hourglass
   
   Additional services are not included, unless agreed upon separately. Optional additional services may include towels, bathrobes and sauna scents. The availability of additional services may vary and is subject to prior agreement.
   
   
   

3. Rental Period & Handover
   
   The rental period begins at the agreed time and ends with the collection of the sauna. The renter undertakes to return the sauna properly, clean, and undamaged. Accessories (towels, bathrobes, oils) are not included by default, unless expressly agreed in writing.
   
   
   

4. Rental Price & Payment
   
   The rental price is based on the current price list or individual offer. Payment must be made before the start of the rental period (bank transfer or cash). Additional services (delivery, accessories, extra cleaning) will be charged separately.
   
   
   

5. Security Deposit
   
   The lessor charges a security deposit of €100. The deposit will be refunded after return provided that:
   
   - no damage has occurred
   
   - the sauna is returned clean and complete
   
   In case of damage or excessive soiling, the deposit may be retained in full or in part.
   
   
   

6. Use & Obligations of the Renter
   
   The renter agrees to:
   
   - use the sauna properly and safely
   
   - observe safety distances and fire regulations
   
   - make no modifications to the sauna
   
   - not sublet the sauna to third parties
   
   The use of alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes inside the sauna is strictly prohibited.
   
   
   

7. Liability
   
   Use of the sauna is at the renter’s own risk. The lessor is not liable for:
   
   - accidents
   
   - injuries
   
   - health-related damages
   
   - damages resulting from improper use
   
   The renter is liable for all damages caused by themselves or their guests.
   
   
   

8. Damages & Repairs
   
   Any damages, defects, or excessive dirt will be charged to the renter. This includes, but is not limited to:
   
   - fire or heat damage
   
   - damage to the stove
   
   - broken wood
   
   - missing accessories
   
   - doors or windows
   
   
   

9. Delivery & Transport
   
   Delivery is carried out exclusively by the lessor.
   
   Costs:
   
   Base fee: €25
   
   €1 per additional kilometer (round trip), calculated based on the route suggested by Google Maps that provides the best driving conditions.
   
   Additional provisions:
   
   Delivery to unpaved, difficult-to-access, or otherwise unsuitable roads may incur additional charges or may be refused by the lessor.
   
   For distances over 50 km (one way), a separate, individual offer can be requested.
   
   
   

10. Cancellation
    
    14 days or more before the rental start: free of charge
    
    13–7 days before the rental start: 25% of the rental price
    
    6 days to 48 hours before the rental start: 50% of the rental price
    
    Less than 48 hours before the rental start: 100% of the rental price
    
    Additional provisions:
    
    

    The cancellation period is calculated based on the local time at the rental location.
    
    Cancellations must be made in writing (email is sufficient).
    
    In case of no-show, the full rental price will be charged.
    
    For long-term or special bookings, individual cancellation terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.
    
    
    

11. Force Majeure
    
    In the event of unforeseen circumstances (storm, fire, technical defect), the lessor may withdraw from the contract. Any amounts already paid will be refunded.
    
    
    

12. Jurisdiction
    
    Portuguese law shall apply.
    
    Place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the lessor.
